Leslie began painting later in life after having careers as a lawyer and law professor. She is largely a self-taught artist and is a proud Virginia native, wife, mother, and fashion enthusiast.  Leslie is a docent and on the docent board of the Mint Museum of Art in Charlotte.  She enjoys giving tours to visitors of all ages to share in her love of art.
